Need money for college?
Hey your not alone. There are thousands, maybe even millions of American's who are in need of some sort of financial assistance to help them go to college. Of course there are basically two routes you can take when it comes to paying for college. You can either one, get student loans, or two, apply for scholarships. Many people opt for the student loans because its alot easier then searching around for scholarships and filling out applications. But don't do that. Don't be lazy. There is more then $100 billion dollars worth of scholarships available for you to pay for college with. Why would you get a student loan that you could possibly be paying on for the next 30 years?
Now i'm not saying student loans don't have there place because they do. I'm just saying why pay when you could get a free ride if you would just take the time to find scholarships that pertain to you. There are scholarships out there for absolutely everything. Not all are merit based so don't worry if your GPA isn't the greatest.
You can get scholarships for being left handed, for being a woman, for majoring in a certain area, and the list goes on. Don't settle for student loans. Make finding and applying for a few scholarships a priority everyday. Its never too late to start looking. Scholarships are awarded all through out the year. I know it may seem like alot of work to fill out a bunch of scholarship applications but trust me, it will be well worth it in the end.About the Author:
